WELCOME TO THE MARK! MY WORDS PODCAST

Cultural Conservation is proud to announce that our website is now the home platform for downloads of the new and exciting Mark! My Words podcast. It is hosted by Dr. Mark Evans, founder of Cultural Conservation, and is an outgrowth of his widely-praised radio and television programs.
“Why another podcast?” you may ask. Students are emerging from school unfamiliar with our past and unprepared for our future. This crisis is exacerbated by our vanishing history, a decline in language, and a pervasive celebrity culture. Classical music, jazz, film scores, and the masterpieces of musical theater are in danger of fading into an undeserved oblivion. This crisis extends to books, art, theater and films.
Mark! My Words is the first podcast to not only address this crisis, but to offer solutions for parents and grandparents, simple and easy solutions to see that your children and grandchildren don’t miss out on the best of our culture.
It won’t be just serious discussions or “gloom and doom” prognostications. Mark Evans is best known as a composer, conductor, pianist, and writer, with a life in music, books, and broadcasting. But he’s also been called a raconteur and a storyteller; he has interviewed some of the world’s most interesting and accomplished people and will provide the opportunity to hear from people who don’t appear in the media every day. Mark believes you can smile while learning and learn while being entertained.
If words and music, books and art, theater and film, ideas and culture interest you, then Mark! My Words is a podcast for you.
You can download the programs right here on the podcast page of the Cultural Conservation website and soon on other media platforms as well. Join us for every episode.
